It is vital to have diverse and far-reaching support if we are to have the greatest impact in trying to rectify the imbalance of opportunities in the Himalayas and to work on Planet Repair. It will take teamwork and collective ideas and creativity to make this work possible, so please do join the TF community to build a better present and future for the Himalayan villagers. By bringing your expertise, knowledge and ideas and getting involved with Tiya Foundation, you will be amplifying our joint voices and influencing positive change, by working together as part of the TF team.

Increasing Awareness

We feel the biggest contribution and impact that one can make is by increasing one’s own awareness and then spreading that knowledge as far and wide as possible. A big part of the issue lies in not knowing exactly what kind and the size of impact that our actions are having on the planet.

With more and more awareness we feel, there will be this innate desire worldover, to change our own ways and also to do something to make a positive impact and that will get us all to join and work together, and when that happens – well, Game On for Repair Planet! And not just climate/environment wise but also repairing the imbalance between the privileged and the not so privileged.

Please feel free to use and share any and all material, stats, presentations that you will find on these pages to get your friends, children, relatives and colleagues to understand the enormity of the challenge that we are all faced with.

Raising Funds

Tiya Foundation is a registered not-for-profit organization, funded for now by just the founders' own savings, which they have decided to use fully for this work. Given the amount of work that needs to be done, and the scale in which it needs to be done, that fund will not be enough, so raising funds through campaigns, donations and grants is very important to scale up and start new and bigger projects.

You could help in doing that, by either your individual contribution or by raising funds for a particular project or for the corpus. Maximize your impact by bringing friends, family, co-workers and colleagues together for fundraisers.

Volunteer

If you are interested in volunteering and becoming a part of the support group, that will be such sweet music to our ears. You can volunteer in many ways:

• On the ground working with us.
• Lending your expertise to various projects.
• By researching and/or writing blogs.
• By taking care of administrative work.
• By maintaining the website and the social media sites.
• By preparing presentations, posters etc.
