Something special is happening in the Himalayan villages!

We have all heard about the issues, the suffering of the villagers due to a lack of doctors, lack of proper facilities, equipment, medicines etc...right ? See the documents/videos below:

Well, a change, a disruption...a difference is being made to this sad norm.

Through technology, social media....using smart, portable devices, Free healthcare service is reaching the remote villages. Doctors from Bangalore, Mumbai, Bhopal, Dehradun etc.. are seeing patients in villages like Ayartoli, Chaurson, Kontho, Dhamsena (ever heard the names ?!) and prescribing medicines, which then are being given to them, right in their villages. Welcome to the world of Tiya Foundation's Free Telemedicine service!

With 800+ registrations and 700+ medical consultations & supplementary medical services, a panel of experienced doctors, employing local village girls as caregivers, bringing in medicines from towns that are over six hours drive away, organising online health camps & medicine distribution... Tiya Foundation is on its way towards a vision of taking the technology and compassion based service all over the Himalayas, to every remote village.

Of course, it will need resources, funds etc...but it will also need a movement where we are joined by All of you saying that "You know what, I am tired of the same old, same old....tired of the fighting, the same sad news all around...I will now do something different, experience something different....something that will fuel me with passion, with freshness where I will bring my intelligence, wit, my expertise.... and use all that energy to bring a smile to as many faces as I can!"
