Chairman, Tiya Foundation
Under Atonu’s leadership, Tiya Foundation is focused on working towards providing support for a better education for the children in the Himalayas, for improved healthcare & hygiene for the villagers, for improving the basic infrastructure & amenities of the villages, towards bringing water directly into the homes of the Himalayan villagers and for cleaning and protecting the Himalayan ecosystem. Atonu leads the efforts of Tiya Foundation to spread awareness, with a special focus on schools, on the issues that are of significant concern in today's world and what needs to be done to repair the imbalance of opportunities.

John-Erik Olsson
Vice-Chairman, Tiya Foundation
John-Erik serves as Vice Chairman of Tiya Foundation, where he brings a wealth of his corporate experience. A key decision maker, John-Erik leads the board meetings, recruitments and financial strategy of the foundation. Having been a board member for a number of companies in Europe, his vision and keen insight is invaluable for executing the mission of Tiya Foundation.
Ashrita Das
Board Secretary, Tiya Foundation
Ashrita, as Board Secretary, helps Tiya Foundation achieve its mission by visiting and documenting the needed work in the various Himalayan villages. Being an experienced international schoolteacher, she brings her knowledge and expertise to work towards improved education for the village children and one of her prime focus is women’s hygiene in the Himalayan villages.
Leila Olsson
Accountant & Treasurer, Tiya Foundation
Leila is one of the key drivers of Tiya Foundation and its policies. As Accountant & Treasurer, she is responsible for all things financial at TF but her role extends far beyond those boundaries. Actively engaged in all aspects of the organization, one of Leila’s top priorities is to ensure that all of TF’s activities comply with the various Swedish rules and regulations.
