Dakpa has been an integral part of the winter water project in Kaza, working closely with Atonu & Tiya Foundation. A sensitive observer and listener who respects cultural diversity and each individual's worldviews, he is fully committed to the ongoing and future work in the Himalayan villages.

A farmer, homestay owner, part-time contractor and a former school teacher, Dakpa graduated from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla.

He will primarily represent TF in Himachal Pradesh, India.

With over 30 years experience in the corporate world, fulfilling senior management roles, Kedar has traveled across the globe, garnering valuable experiences which he brings to the Tiya Foundation team. His passion for helping and working for the not so privileged is unmatched and infectious.

Kedar graduated as a mechanical engineer from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, India and his post graduation was in industrial management & engineering from the National Institute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai, India for which he was conferred the national scholarship by the Indian government.

Kedar will be part of the management team and represent Tiya Foundation in the US.
